Some of our users may have click totals in their Google Ads campaigns that don't match those in their Fraud Blocker dashboard.
There can be a few reasons for this based on your specific set-up and the types of ad campaigns you are running.
Here are steps you can take to ensure our click counts closely match those from your Google or Meta ad accounts.
Ensure your set-up is correct:
Ensure our Fraud Tracker script is on each landing page you're using (or your entire site)
Avoid using redirects for your ad URLs. This is when you use a final ad URL that then redirects to a different URL for your landing page. Avoiding this is best practices when advertising on Google or Meta and can break our detection capabilities.
Ensure "Auto-Tagging" is turned on in your Google Ads account. This adds Google's click ID to your URL, known as "GCLID," which can ensure we provide more accurate tracking. It won't impact your performance.
Ensure the date ranges are the same on both platforms.
Ensure the time zone of your Fraud Blocker account matches your Google Ads account (you can adjust it on your Profile page)
Keep these important campaign types in mind:
If you are seeing more clicks in your Google Ads account than in your Fraud Blocker dashboard, then...
You may be running some campaign types that don't go to your landing page. These include call campaigns, gmail (the initial click) or lead form ads. Here's a list of all the Google and Meta campaign types we support.
Apple's Safari also removes URL tracking parameters when browsing the web in incognito mode.

If a user doesn't arrive on your landing page with our Tracking Pixel and URL parameters, then we may be unable to properly detect and classify your visitors IPs and count them in your Fraud Blocker account.
β
If you are seeing less clicks in your Google Ads account than in your Fraud Blocker dashboard, then...
This is possibly due to "invalid clicks." Google automatically filters these clicks for your campaigns reports. but we track them in your Fraud Blocker dashboard. To see your true click totals, you would need to add the totals together for "Clicks" and "Invalid clicks."
