Our platform allows you to easily block any IPs that come from areas you don't want to target including countries, states/regions and cities.
In your Google Ads account, you can also select which locations you wish to target, however, it is very common that Google will still run your ads outside of that area. It's unclear why this occurs (this is a common issue) but our geo-blocking feature can ensure your ads don't run where you don't want them to.
Our feature gives you two options:
"Block" - By selecting "Block" all ad clicks with IPs from those locations will be blocked.
"Allow" - By selecting "Allow" all ad clicks with IPs from outside those locations will be blocked.
Once you select your locations, we will retroactively apply those settings to all the related IPs in your account. They will they will be listed as "Auto-Blocked" and immediately sent to your IP exclusion list in your Google Ads account.
Note: we need to see the first click from the user to know where they came from and then we block them from seeing your ads in the future.
Also, IPs are recycled frequently. As a result, we can track 99.8% accurate at a country level, 80% accurate on a state level, and 68% accurate on a city level within a 50 kilometer radius.
Steps to block or allow IPs from specific locations:
1. Go to the "Customizations" area of your Fraud Blocker dashboard
2. Open the section for "Geo-Blocking By Locations"
3. Select "Allow" or "Block," select your locations from the drop down menu and then hit "Save & Close"
