If you received a "Token error" when attempting to connect your Google Ads account, please follow the steps below to reconnect your account.

The error message looks like this:

This error is often caused by a blockage that prevents us from displaying your accounts - such as an Ad Blocker plugin or a cache issue. It can also be caused by someone in your organization updating your Google Ads account permissions.

Steps to fix a "Refresh token error":

  1. Remove Fraud Blocker's connection to your Google account by going to your Google permissions page.

  2. Go to "Fraud Blocker" -> "See details" -> "Remove access"

  3. Once removed, please clear your cache. Or simply try and reconnect in a different browser such as using Microsoft Edge (if you used Chrome previously) or using an incognito window.

That's it. You should be all set! 🥳

If you still have trouble, please contact us and we'd be happy to help you resolve it.
